Times up, I am calling you home.....

Last Friday a man from our church went home suddenly to be with his Lord and Saviour. I knew him, but not well. Its still so, so sad. One weekend you see a person in the coffee shop and at church as I saw this man and the next week he is gone. He and his wife had just left for Florida to be with their family, they were there only a few days, when he was killed in a vehicle accident. I imagine that they were just going about their lives like we all do and then the family was spun into unbearable pain. In our computer society we get used to clicking undo to reverse an error, but there is no undo for this. It seems like an awful dream. Very likely they are asking many, but what if, if only type questions. This man was a great dude, now his family must pick themselves up off the floor and move on.

How will we come around them to help where we can?

To my knowledge these people, this family are all Christians, are you? Where will you go if you are suddenly taken? If you are left behind, if you lose a loved one like this family did, do you have a Jesus to turn to?
