Spin class is a class where you bike on a stationary bike. Round and round you make the pedals go in an effort to get in shape.
Sometimes I feel like my mind is in spin class, round and round it goes, except unlike the real spin class there is no real positive outcome.
Professionals have provided me with tools to stop the madness, but what is easier, to lay around and sulk or make the effort to stop the spin process. Its a process that can start with one small thing and for those of us with a weak phsychi, before we know it we are in full blown spin class.
Yes it sounds silly, but controlling the mind, especially as I get older, is a challenging process. The older I get the more there is to think about, the hard parts of life become more common as we get older. One simple and small choice can lead me in a positive direction and one small poor choice can lead to a more accelerated spin class.

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honourable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
Why does it always seem easier to make poor choices than it does to make wise choices?
